Deep North Felted Mittens

$111.00

These mittens were crocheted by hand using reclaimed wool in warm and cold blended colors. These mittens are in conversation on temperature, with tips that match the other. Since they are wool, they are very warm and will naturally wick away water and moisture. This pair was felted by hand, felting is a process that involves distressing (usually) wool fibers with water, drastic temperature, and friction, to create a stronger bind between the fibers. With time, the wool fibers will continue to felt themselves through wear, and become even more homogenous and blended in appearance.
